Social media users have taken to their official X account to react to the statement that Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to Atiku Abubakar made after court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to deregister the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC.
This came after The Cable reported that the Federal High Court in Kogi state has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission not to register the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC as a political party.
In the post that Paul Ibe shared on his official X account, he said all opposition parties need to come together. He said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has decided to make Nigeria one party system.
According to Paul Ibe on his official X account;
“His message is loud and clear that he will obliterate the opposition and destroy our democracy if he does not have his way in the 2027 election. It is not too late for the opposition to harmonize their strengths ahead of 2027”.
