Paul Ibe, the senior special adviser on media to ADC Chieftain Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official X handle to react after Sunday Igboho disclosed that he knew those behind the abductions in Oyo State.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Thursday June 4th, 2026 he pointed out that the revelation from the respected Elderstateman should not be taken for granted.

Sunday Igboho, a respected human rights activist and agitator for an independent Yoruba nation, it can be recalled, in a now viral statement, pointed out that those behind the abductions in Oyo State were politicians.

He further pointed out that if given the opportunity, he can give their identities. His comments as expected triggered massive public reactions as many called on the authorities to act promptly.

Reacting, Paul Ibe, the senior special adviser on media to the Waziri of Adamawa in his statements, pointed out that the activist should be summoned for questioning.

He further pointed out that all options should be on the table to ensure the swift release of the abducted school children and the teachers.

However, while he commended the president for sending armed forest guards to defend a community, he pointed out that certain gaps still needed to be bridged.
