In a video circulated on Facebook, the cleric spoke on developments ahead of the 2027 presidential election, particularly focusing on the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the political future of former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
According to Ayodele, the ADC may soon experience internal disagreements that could affect its unity and overall effectiveness. He suggested that tensions within the party could escalate into open conflict if not properly managed. “ADC will start fight among themselves,” he stated, warning of possible divisions that could weaken the party’s chances in future elections.
Speaking on Peter Obi, Ayodele expressed doubts about his immediate prospects of becoming Nigeria’s president. While acknowledging Obi’s political relevance, he indicated that the timing may not favor him just yet. “Peter Obi cannot be president for now,” he said, adding that a vice-presidential role might be a more realistic position in the meantime if circumstances allow.
Beyond politics, Ayodele also touched on issues relating to security and group stability. He made a brief but concerning remark about a group in Lagos State, urging them to remain vigilant and prayerful to avoid unexpected losses. “They should pray against any bereavement so they do not lose members,” he added, without providing further details.
On the economic front, the cleric pointed to potential challenges within Nigeria’s insurance sector. He advised stakeholders in the industry to remain cautious and attentive, suggesting that the sector could face difficulties in the near future. “Insurance will face challenges… they should be watchful and prayerful,” he said.
