According to Anadolu Agency, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is in full health and has resumed all duties, according to state media, weeks after he was injured during a joint US-Israeli strike on the first day of the war earlier this year.
The attack launched on the heavily fortified office compound of Iran’s leadership in Tehran, sent shockwaves through the regime. While details of the assault remain restricted, sources confirm that the Supreme Leader sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the initial blast. He was immediately moved to an undisclosed secure location for treatment.
On Sunday, the official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) released a statement from the leadership’s medical team, declaring that the 58-year-old Khamenei had made a complete recovery. The statement emphasized his return to operational command amid the ongoing conflict.
