Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, has stated that he knows people will soon start calling the Rivers State Rainbow Coalition a secret society after the group donated 500 million naira to the family of late Senator Barinada Mpigi.
In a video shared by TVC, Wike said that when he used to wear white clothes regularly, people raised suspicions about it. He said that after he survived an assassination attempt, some people claimed his survival was due to the white clothes he wore, suggesting they had some form of spiritual protection
In Wike’s words: “When I was wearing white they said, ‘Have you seen where one man would be wearing white every day?’. When they attempted to kill me they said ‘Didn’t you see it, he did not die because he was wearing white’. So there is not nothing you do in this world that they will not interpret”
