Prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Collins Ordu, has said that Siminalayi Fubara has not been formally accepted into the ranks of the All Progressives Congress (APC), amid continuing political tensions in Rivers State.

Ordu made the remarks during an interview aired by News Central TV on Monday, May 11, 2026. His comments come at a time when political developments in Rivers State continue to attract public attention, particularly following reports that some APC members in the state were reportedly turned away during a screening exercise.

Speaking during the televised interview, Ordu suggested that Governor Fubara’s political situation remains uncertain and argued that the governor has yet to secure acceptance within the APC fold despite ongoing speculations surrounding his political alignment.
