BREAKING: We’re Not Part Of ADC Coalition, NNPP Tells Atiku; Police Foil Bomb Plot In Ondo
We’re Not Part of ADC Coalition, NNPP tells Atiku
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has denied being part of any coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), rejecting claims by Atiku Abubakar. The party’s National Secretary, Ogini Olaposi, clarified that NNPP has no plans to join or merge with the ADC, describing Atiku’s assertion as misleading.
He explained that individuals like Rabiu Kwankwaso and members of the Kwankwasiyya movement who are linked to the ADC do not represent the NNPP, noting that their affiliation with the party ended after the 2023 elections. The NNPP stressed it remains independent and focused on contesting elections on its own, amid ongoing political realignments ahead of 2027.
Police Foil Bomb Plot in Ondo, Arrest Six
Police in Akure have foiled a suspected bomb plot and arrested six individuals accused of planning attacks on key government facilities. Commissioner of Police Adebowale Lawal said the operation, based on intelligence, led to the recovery of materials believed to be components for improvised explosive devices, along with cash, phones and other items, suggesting a coordinated plan targeting strategic locations.
In a separate raid, police also arrested 10 suspected cultists in Ondo Town, including an alleged leader linked to past violent incidents. Authorities recovered weapons and charms, and said the suspects are tied to groups such as Aiye and Eiye, as investigations continue with all those arrested expected to face prosecution.
‘All of us in LP including Alex Otti have agreed to support Tinubu’ — Arabambi
Abayomi Arabambi, a leader of the Labour Party, has claimed that key figures within the party, including Alex Otti, have agreed to support Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027. He argued that the presidency should remain in the South-West to complete an eight-year cycle, describing the move as a consensus position within the party’s leadership.
Arabambi also dismissed any possibility of Peter Obi returning to the party, citing internal agreements and ongoing disputes, while criticising efforts by Nenadi Usman to push for Obi’s comeback. He maintained that the party has resolved to back Tinubu’s re-election bid, deepening internal divisions and raising questions about the party’s direction ahead of 2027.
Atiku will never learn, Tinubu’s aide tackles ex-VP over zoning comments
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to Bola Tinubu, has criticised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over his comments on power rotation ahead of the 2027 election. Onanuga insisted that the South should retain the presidency until 2031, arguing that Tinubu must complete two terms just as former President Muhammadu Buhari did, and accused Atiku of pushing a self-serving agenda that undermines the zoning principle.
Atiku, however, dismissed claims of a binding national agreement on zoning, noting that only the Peoples Democratic Party formally adopts it, while maintaining support for rotational leadership. He argued that the South has held power longer since 1999 and suggested a consensus candidate for 2027, even as he hinted it could be his final presidential bid, deepening the political debate over regional power balance.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
