According to Daily Post on the 23rd June 2026, the political activities ahead of the 2027 elections in Kano State gained momentum as the leaders of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, held a meeting with the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, governorship candidate, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo.
The meeting was led by the Kano State NNPP leadership under Dr. Hashim Suleiman Dungurawa, who congratulated Mr. Gwarzo on securing the party’s governorship ticket and wished him success in the forthcoming election.
