BREAKING: Iran Dismisses Trump Claim, Says He Was “Misled Once Again by Fake News” Over Execution Allegations

The denial came after Mr Trump urged Iranian negotiators to spare the women’s lives, describing it as necessary for what he called a “great start to our negotiations”.

In response, Iranian authorities dismissed the statement, insisting it was based on misinformation and misrepresentation of judicial cases.

The judiciary’s official Mizan Online website said: “Trump was misled once again by fake news.”

It added that the individuals referenced in the claim were either no longer in custody or were facing legal proceedings unrelated to execution.

According to the judiciary, some of the women had already been released, while others are facing charges that, even if upheld, would at most result in imprisonment rather than capital punishment.

Tehran reiterated that court decisions in the country follow legal procedures and are not connected to political statements made abroad.
