BREAKING: Amupitan Links Akpabio to “Victory Was Sure” Remark, Says Sani

In a recent interview shared by Arise News, former presidential media adviser and PDP chieftain, Umar Sani, weighed in on the growing controversy surrounding the alleged social media activity linked to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Sani reacted to remarks made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio concerning a disputed post attributed to the INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan. The post, reportedly shared on an X (formerly Twitter) account, suggested that electoral victory was already certain before the conclusion of the process.

According to Sani, such statements raise serious concerns about neutrality and public trust in the electoral body. He noted that conflicting claims around the ownership of the account, alongside emerging digital evidence, have further complicated the issue.

“If Akpabio was saying what he said that victory was sure, it means he was the one who said it,” Sani stated, insisting that the implication points directly to the INEC Chairman.

He argued that the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral system depends heavily on transparency and impartial conduct by its leadership. Sani warned that any perception of bias could weaken confidence in democratic institutions and electoral outcomes.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
