Political analyst Bellow Osigwe has revealed that the 2027 presidential election is between Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu. Speaking in a video broadcast on Silverbird Television, he stated that the ADC zoned its ticket to the South to favor Peter Obi, whom, according to him, more than half of the population wants to vote for.
He emphasized that although he does not really believe in zoning and prefers the most qualified person to take the reins, he noted that the decision by the ADC to zone its ticket to the South was a good one because only Peter Obi — not Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, or anyone else — could contest against Bola Tinubu and stand a chance of winning. He said:
“There is no better name to give the incumbent a run for his money other than Peter Obi. There is no better name, whether Atiku or Amaechi or others that are just buying forms.”
He added:
“The political gladiators know that, as it stands today, it’s Peter Obi vs the incumbent.”
