According to the Anadolu Agency, a fresh diplomatic effort to end the months-long conflict between Iran and the United States may be gaining momentum after Tehran formally sent its response to Washington’s latest peace proposal through Pakistani mediators on Sunday
The move has sparked cautious optimism across the region, where fears of a wider Middle East war have remained high since fighting erupted earlier this year.
Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency confirmed the development, reporting: “The Islamic Republic of Iran’s response to the latest US proposal for ending the war was sent to the Pakistani mediator today.”
While officials have not revealed the full contents of Tehran’s reply, sources familiar with the negotiations said the current round of talks is focused mainly on stopping military operations and reducing tensions across the region.
According to Reuters, both sides are working toward a temporary understanding that would pause the conflict and reopen safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping route that has become a major flashpoint during the war. More difficult issues, including Iran’s nuclear programme, are expected to be discussed later in negotiations.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that Tehran’s willingness to negotiate should not be mistaken for surrender.
“If there is any talk of dialogue or negotiation, it does not mean surrender or backing down, but rather the goal is to secure the rights of the Iranian nation and powerfully defend national interests,” Pezeshkian said in remarks carried by IRNA.
He also vowed that Iran “will never bow before the enemy” while speaking during a meeting focused on rebuilding damage caused by the US-Israeli war.
The conflict has shaken the region since the United States and Israel launched strikes against Iran on February 28, triggering retaliatory attacks from Tehran and renewed instability across the Gulf.
Although a Pakistan-mediated ceasefire took effect on April 8, clashes and political tensions have continued, leaving diplomats racing to secure a lasting agreement before the fragile truce collapses.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
