CONTROVERSIAL: Apostle Suleman Declares Tithe Is Under the Law, Questions Christian Arguments

In a recent video on YouTube, Johnson Suleman has continued to spark theological discussion after delivering a detailed teaching on tithing, challenging widely held assumptions about its origin and relevance within Christian doctrine.

Speaking to his congregation, Suleman questioned why the topic of tithing remains controversial among believers, urging Christians to move beyond what he described as surface-level arguments.

“Are you not too old as a Christian to be arguing about tithe?” he asked, stressing the need for deeper scriptural understanding.

He rejected the claim that tithing belongs solely to the Old Testament law, arguing instead that it predates the Mosaic system entirely.

“Tithe is under the law. Says who? You don’t know scripture. Tithe is not under the law. Tithe was imputed into the law,” Suleman stated, asserting that the practice existed before it was codified.

Using the biblical figure Abraham as a reference point, he emphasized that tithing was practiced before the establishment of formal law.

“Abraham paid tithe. Was Abraham under the law? They’re not under the law,” he said, adding that “anything you see Abraham do that you find in the law was transferred to the law.”

Suleman went further to outline the structure of biblical history, explaining that the Old Covenant began with Moses and should be understood within a broader framework of divine interaction with humanity.

“The old covenant started from Moses. The old covenant is the Mosaic law,” he said.

He also introduced the concept of dispensations, describing different periods in which God related to humanity in distinct ways.

“The first dispensation is the dispensation of innocence… then the second dispensation was from the fall to the flood… the dispensation of conscience,” he explained.

According to Suleman, understanding these phases is essential for interpreting biblical teachings accurately.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
