Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has declared that he is not intimidated by alleged threats from political opponents as he prepares to return to Nigeria ahead of the next governorship election in Ekiti State.
According to a report by Daily Post on Friday, June 5, 2026, Fayose made the remarks in a video posted on his Facebook page, where he announced plans to leave Australia and return home to participate actively in political activities leading up to the election.
Fayose, who has been outside the country following the death of his wife, said he was ready to come back to Ekiti despite what he described as attempts by some individuals to discourage or intimidate him.
The businessman and political commentator expressed confidence that the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji is nearing the end of its tenure and that the people of Ekiti State would ultimately decide the future of the state through the ballot box.
Speaking in the video, Fayose dismissed concerns about threats directed at him and insisted that he was prepared for any consequences that might arise from his political involvement.
According to him, “I have been hearing your noise. I’m not scared of you. Prison are meant for human beings, not animals. If you want to arrest me, arrest me. I am coming back to Ekiti State before the election.”
He maintained that no amount of intimidation would prevent him from returning home or expressing his political views ahead of the poll.
Fayose also used the opportunity to criticize the administration of Governor Oyebanji, alleging that the state government had not done enough to justify the resources available to it. He argued that despite substantial financial allocations and revenues received by the state, residents had not seen a corresponding level of development.
According to him, the people of Ekiti should carefully assess the performance of the current administration and determine the direction they want the state to take in the coming years.
“The election will be decided by the people. Ekiti people will decide whether they want continuity or a different direction. Nobody can force the people to vote against their wishes,” he said.
Fayose further alleged that many residents were dissatisfied with the pace of development in the state and would use the election as an opportunity to express their views through the democratic process.
He emphasized that elections should be based on accountability and performance rather than intimidation or political pressure.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
