According to a report by DAILY POST on Wednesday 3rd June 2026, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has dismissed suggestions that Pastor Enoch Adeboye should lead a protest against the administration of President Bola Tinubu, describing such expectations as misplaced.

The founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries made the remarks while reacting to discussions surrounding Adeboye’s recent comments on Nigeria’s security challenges.

Pastor Adeboye had called on the Federal Government to issue a 90-day ultimatum to security chiefs to eliminate terrorism or vacate their positions, a statement that generated widespread reactions across the country.

Amid claims that the RCCG General Overseer had backed away from plans to stage a protest over insecurity, Bamiloye insisted that the respected cleric’s position had been misrepresented by some bloggers and commentators.

In a message shared on his Instagram page, Bamiloye noted that Adeboye openly condemned the security crisis and spoke against the growing threats facing Nigerians.

He argued that expecting an 84-year-old religious leader to take to the streets in protest ignores both his age and the responsibilities attached to his calling as a minister of the gospel.

According to Bamiloye, Adeboye has consistently addressed national concerns through his teachings and public statements, making it unfair to suggest that he is indifferent to the country’s challenges.
