According to a report by The Kyiv Independent on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Ukraine’s military has carried out a major overnight operation targeting Russian military logistics infrastructure in occupied Crimea, destroying a railway bridge and striking dozens of other military and energy-related facilities, Ukrainian officials have said.
The operation, which took place on June 22 and 23, is part of Kyiv’s ongoing efforts to disrupt Russian supply routes and weaken Moscow’s military capabilities in the occupied peninsula.
Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces reportedly carried out a strike on a railway bridge crossing the North Crimean Canal in the Razdolne area, marking the first known attack on the structure.
