In a recent video on Facebook, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Elijah Ayodele, has issued fresh political warnings regarding Nigeria’s opposition parties, predicting internal divisions and urging greater unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on the country’s evolving political landscape, Ayodele cautioned that fragmentation within coalition efforts could undermine their chances of success at the polls.

“Abbas will divide the coalition party,” he said, without giving further clarification on the identity or role of the individual referenced.

The cleric stressed that opposition parties must prioritize strategic collaboration if they hope to mount a serious challenge against the ruling party. He specifically advised key political groups to consider forming alliances.

“PDP and ADC should join together if they want to win… only unity can give them victory,” he stated.

According to him, the strength of any opposition bloc lies in its ability to consolidate support, avoid internal rivalry, and present a unified front to voters across the country.

Ayodele also predicted increasing instability within ruling party-controlled states, warning of internal political tensions that could affect governance and party cohesion.

“More confusion in APC states,” he added.

However, Ayodele warned that failure to achieve unity could lead to repeated electoral setbacks, stressing that political fragmentation often benefits more organized rivals.
