During an interview on Channels Television, Felix Morka responded to claims that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is behind the internal crises affecting opposition parties.

Morka said there has been a growing narrative suggesting that the ruling party is responsible for turmoil within opposition ranks, a claim he questioned while addressing recent political developments.

He referenced events involving opposition figures such as Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, who have been linked to shifts away from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to him, “The narrative has been that the APC is responsible for all of the turmoil that we have witnessed in the opposition parties. Are we now to also suggest that these events that have been playing out in the last 48 hours were also engineered by the APC?

He argued that opposition parties should take responsibility for their internal challenges rather than attributing them to external interference, adding that such claims undermine serious political discourse.

“Now maybe someone will actually do that with a bold face to say that look, you know, maybe the APC did something to cause Peter Obi and Kwankwaso to maybe abandon the ADC now and join their new party. Look, these fellows are very unserious, and you know, I don’t know how anyone takes them that seriously.”
