Trump admits he cursed out Israel’s Netanyahu over Lebanon war
US President Donald Trump, has confirmed a tense exchange with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he reportedly berated his close ally with expletives.
In an interview published on Wednesday, in the New York Post, Trump, was asked about the conversation he had with Netanyahu over the phone on Monday.
“You said, ‘Are you f-ing crazy? What are you f-ing doing? I helped you stay out of jail.’ Is that true? Did you speak to him in those terms?” the interviewer asked.
“I did,” Trump responded. “I was a little bit perturbed at his constantly faighting with Lebanon.”

The Lagos State Government, has apprehended 45 beggars, including adults and minors, during separate enforcement operations conducted in Oshodi, Agege, and CMS areas of the state.
The Commissioner for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a statement posted on his X handle, on Wednesday.
According to him, 22 beggars, were arrested in Oshodi and Agege, comprising adults and a few teenagers.
He added that 14 adults and nine children, were also apprehended at CMS during the exercise.
Messi wins 2026 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports
Argentinian footballer, Lionel Messi, has won the 2026 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports.
The award, was announced on Wednesday, by the jury responsible for conferring the award.
A statement released by the convener, Princess of Asturias Foundation, said Messi was selected in recognition of a career defined by sustained excellence, sporting achievement and global impact.
Born on June 24, 1987 in Rosario, Argentina, Messi rose from Newell’s Old Boys youth system before joining FC Barcelona’s La Masia academy at the age of 13.
Oyo APC decries abduction of Adelabu’s sister, sons
The All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, on Wednesday, condemned the abduction of Mrs Busayo Adelabu John-Paul, the younger sister of the former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu and her twin children by gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday, in Ibadan.
A statement released by the state APC Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, urged Governor Seyi Makinde to collaborate with security agencies and relevant stakeholders, with a view to arresting the spate of insecurity in the state.
Sadare, lamented that the kidnapping of Busayo and her sons happened at a time when the public, was increasingly becoming agitated over the unresolved cases of kidnappings involving some school children and their teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of the state, as well as two staff of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria at Idi-Ayunre in Oluyole Local Government Area of the state.
The PUNCH reports that John-Paul, who is a biological sister to the former minister, Adelabu, was kidnapped alongside her 12-year-old twin sons at Elewura-Challenge in Ibadan South West Local Government Area of the state.
