BREAKING: “The APC-Led Government Has Destroyed Opposition In This Country – Tambuwal

According to a report by The Sun on Monday, April 13, 2026, former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has expressed concern over the current state of governance in the country, criticising the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking in Sokoto during a political gathering, Tambuwal said recent developments have raised questions about the strength of democratic institutions and the direction of national leadership.

He said, “The APC-led government has destroyed opposition in this country. They have infected the Peoples Democratic Party, the Labour Party, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party. There is now a push for all parties to endorse President Tinubu as the sole candidate. That is not democracy.”
