According to a report by Vanguard News on Thursday, May 28, 2026, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has said she is no longer interested in getting married following her separation from her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
The actress made the disclosure during a livestream session with content creator Jarvis, where she spoke about motherhood, family and how her views on relationships have changed after the collapse of her marriage to the billionaire politician.
Regina stated that she has completely ruled out marriage from her plans, saying she no longer sees herself getting married again.
Despite her position on marriage, the mother of two said she still hopes to have more children and is particularly determined to have a daughter. She explained that raising a girl child feels different because daughters often maintain a closer emotional bond with their families even after marriage.
She revealed that before having her first son, she initially believed she would never want a girl child, but her perspective later changed as she reflected on family relationships and motherhood.
During the livestream, Regina also disclosed that she has not seen her children since 2025 and admitted that she misses them deeply. However, she expressed hope that she would reunite with them soon by God’s grace. She added that her first son will turn six this year, while the second child will be four.
Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko got married in 2019, a union that drew widespread public attention because of the significant age difference between them, as Regina was 19 years old at the time.
Their marriage later became one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity relationships, especially after their public marital crisis in 2025. The controversy intensified after allegations surfaced from Nwoko accusing the actress of substance abuse and suggesting she needed rehabilitation.
Regina denied the allegations and in response accused the senator of manipulation, psychological abuse and controlling behaviour. She later left the marriage and has continued to publicly maintain that she is now single.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor.
