According to a report by The Times Of Israel on April 19, 2026, after telling Fox News that talks with Iran will resume on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump says on Truth Social, “We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran.”
“NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!” he writes.
He further warns that the targeted infrastructure would not withstand any sustained action, stating that the bridges and power plants would “come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years.”
He adds, “IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!”
Trump’s remarks come amid renewed diplomatic signals between Washington and Tehran, even as tensions remain high. His statement reflects a hardened position, suggesting severe consequences if negotiations fail to produce an agreement.
The comments also followed criticism from Iranian officials over US actions. One of Iran’s chief negotiators, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, described Trump’s blockade of Iran’s ports as “ignorant” and “foolish.” He warned that Tehran would not permit transit through the Strait of Hormuz if Iranian vessels were obstructed.
Ghalibaf further stated that Iran’s forces were “fully prepared” for any possible resumption of hostilities by the United States at any moment.
