According to Anadolu Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that American intelligence has Iran’s nuclear materials sites very well surveilled, and warned that any attempt to access them would trigger a U.S. military response.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump did not specify which facilities he was referring to but emphasized that the United States is closely monitoring all Iranian nuclear activity. He added that the current administration shares his view on the threat posed by Tehran’s atomic ambitions.

The remarks come amid heightened tensions over Iran’s advancing uranium enrichment program, which Tehran insists is peaceful. Western intelligence agencies have long accused Iran of seeking nuclear weapons capability, a charge Iran denies.
Trump, who as president withdrew the U.S. from the 2015 nuclear deal and ordered the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, did not clarify whether he was speaking on behalf of any official role or as a candidate. His statement drew swift pushback from Tehran, with Iran’s foreign ministry calling it provocative and reckless.
The White House declined to comment directly on Trump’s threat but reaffirmed that the U.S. retains all options to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
