Netanyahu also addressed another claim circulating online that suggested his most recent televised speech had been created using artificial intelligence. Some users had pointed to what they believed was an unusual visual detail in the broadcast, alleging that he appeared to have six fingers on one hand.
Responding humorously to the speculation, Netanyahu lifted his hands toward the camera and asked viewers if they wanted to count his fingers themselves, dismissing the allegation that the address had been digitally generated.
Beyond responding to the rumours, the Israeli prime minister used the moment to deliver a brief message to citizens.
