A report shared on the official X account of DAILY POST on Friday, June 5, 2026, captured comments made by Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, in which he weighed in on the political prospects of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

In his remarks, Bwala assessed the possible electoral outcomes involving key opposition figures, suggesting that former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi could potentially outperform former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the race. He further speculated on the likelihood of a disappointing outcome for Atiku if the election were held under current political dynamics.
