Former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi has stated that he prefers to distance himself from conflict rather than remain in an environment marked by division and constant disputes.
Speaking during an interview on ADVOCACY FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE on Monday, May 11, 2026, Obi said he has consistently chosen peace over unnecessary confrontation, despite perceptions that such decisions may be seen as weakness.
The former presidential candidate maintained that he did not voluntarily leave the political parties he belonged to, but was instead compelled to do so due to unresolved internal issues. According to him, whenever he encounters serious disagreements or unhealthy political environments, he chooses to step away quietly rather than engage in public conflicts.
Obi further stressed that avoiding quarrels should not be interpreted as cowardice, noting that preserving peace remains a virtue and a sign of maturity.
Obi Said, “I don’t stay where there’s a problem. I’ve never knowingly whether it’s in private or in public quarrel with people, I don’t stay I would rather be the loser and be called a coward and go out of it in peace, than stay where there is quarrel. So if people tomorrow say we don’t want you here, I move on. That is not weakness, it is a virtue.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
