BREAKING: I Don’t Agree With Those Who Say There Should Be a Consensus; Let’s Go and Face the People — Amaechi

During an interview on Channels Television, Rotimi Amaechi, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), spoke on internal party democracy and the process of selecting candidates ahead of future elections.

Amaechi rejected calls for a consensus arrangement within the party, insisting that all aspirants should be allowed to test their popularity through a transparent primary process. He argued that giving party members the opportunity to choose their preferred candidate remains the most credible approach, rather than imposing a single candidate through agreement among political elites.

He also addressed the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar, stating that while he would support him if he emerges as the party’s flagbearer, the process leading to that outcome must be democratic and open.

According to him, “Of course, if he (Atiku) wins, I’ll support him, but beyond him winning, it has to be primary. I don’t agree with those who says there should be be consensus candidate. Let’s go and face the people, let them vote who they want in the party. Let’s look at vice president Atiku’s history. He’s aimlessly qualified to be the president of Nigeria, it’s within his right to contest for the office of the president of Nigeria. The issue of zoning or no zoning, what vice president Atiku will realise is that, when we were all in PDP, zoning things is the PDP thing.”

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
