BREAKING: “I Appeal To All Nigerians, Both At Home And Abroad, To Come Out For General Election – Kwankwaso
According to Premium Time, former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has called on Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora to actively participate in the forthcoming general elections, stressing that civic engagement remains vital to strengthening the country’s democracy.
Kwankwaso, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made the appeal in a video clip he posted on his official X handle on Monday night, where he urged citizens not to be indifferent to the electoral process.
In the video message, the former governor emphasised the importance of voter turnout, noting that the power to shape the nation’s future lies in the hands of the electorate. He warned that apathy among voters could undermine democratic gains, while active participation would ensure that leaders emerge through credible and inclusive processes.
According to him, “I appeal to all Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to come out en masse and participate fully in the forthcoming general elections.” He added that every eligible voter has a responsibility to contribute to the democratic process by casting their votes and encouraging others to do the same.
Kwankwaso further highlighted the role of unity and collective responsibility in achieving peaceful and transparent elections. He noted that beyond voting, Nigerians must remain vigilant and committed to upholding democratic values before, during, and after the polls.
The former governor’s message comes amid growing political activities across the country as parties and candidates intensify preparations ahead of the elections. Analysts say calls like Kwankwaso’s are crucial in addressing voter apathy, particularly among young people and Nigerians living abroad.
Observers have also pointed out that diaspora participation, although often limited by logistical and legal constraints, remains an important aspect of national discourse on electoral reforms.
Kwankwaso concluded by reiterating that the future of Nigeria depends largely on the willingness of its citizens to engage in the democratic process, urging them to seize the opportunity to make their voices heard through the ballot.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
