Zoe Tamunotonye, National President of the Rivers Emancipation Movement, has stated that Governor Siminalayi Fubara was deceived and lured to join the APC, where his political opponents would easily “ambush” him
In an interview with Silverbird TV, Tamunotonye said Kingsley Chinda is still a PDP member but has obtained an APC governorship nomination form in Rivers State. He questioned why President Tinubu has not done anything about this yet
In Tamunotonye’s words: “The governor’s defection was a maneuver, it was a scheming to bring him to a place where they can ambush him and that is what has happened. How can in a democracy somebody who is in another party is now a governorship aspirant in the ruling party. This is what is happening in Rivers State and the president, Bola Tinubu, is watching all these things happen”
