BREAKING: Bala Mohammed’s Attempt to Switch to APC Falls Through as the Party Dismisses 60/40 Deal
Talks between Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, his faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) backed by Turaki, and leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) have failed.
The Governor and his team are now looking at other political parties for possible alliances and the governor’s departure along with his supporters from the local level to the state level.
Sama’ila Burga, who heads the Turaki-led PDP faction in Bauchi State, spoke to reporters on Saturday. He stated that the APC has made it clear they are not willing to accept his party’s structure or government.
Burga explained that the APC had started discussions with them through the Governor. The National Chairman and Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf even visited Bala Mohammed in Bauchi to persuade him to join the APC. However, they did not agree to work with the proposed 60–40 sharing plan for control of the party in Bauchi.
“This is how things have been handled in other areas where governors moved to APC. They turned down this proposal, and we have ended that conversation. You can’t expect a government that has its structure from the local level to the state level to not have control over the party.
“We have arranged this press conference at the request of His Excellency, the Governor, who is leading these talks.”
Burga mentioned that after talking with PDP members and thinking carefully, it became obvious that the reasons put forth for a political realignment were not accepted by the APC leadership. Therefore, we want to announce that the discussions have not reached a final decision and are now officially ended.
“While we value the efforts made by the APC to engage with us, we clearly state that this process has come to an end. As a result, the PDP in Bauchi State, in consultation with His Excellency and other important stakeholders, is looking into all possible political options and parties besides the APC to find the best way forward that meets the hopes and needs of the people of Bauchi State,” he said.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
