Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV on June 5, 2026, Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Policy Communications, shared his views on recent political activities within the African Democratic Congress (ADC)-aligned coalition. His remarks focused on the role of former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi and the ongoing consultations among opposition figures ahead of the 2027 elections.

Bwala noted that political coalitions often experience shifts as key players reassess their interests, ambitions, and long-term strategies. He explained that discussions surrounding leadership positions are a common feature of alliances that bring together several influential politicians.

Addressing reports about Amaechi’s place within the coalition, Bwala claimed that the former governor had reconsidered an earlier position. According to him, “Rotimi Amaechi has changed his mind; he no longer wants to be VP, so they are begging him.” The comment came as he discussed ongoing negotiations and engagements among members of the opposition bloc.

He further stated that political alliances are dynamic by nature, with participants frequently adjusting their decisions in response to changing realities. In his view, such developments are typical in coalition politics, particularly when different political interests must be accommodated under one platform.

Bwala also observed that consultations within the ADC coalition are still ongoing as members prepare for future electoral contests. He said several prominent figures are currently weighing their options regarding leadership responsibilities and political participation within the alliance.

Concluding his remarks, Bwala emphasized that the situation illustrates the complexities involved in managing a broad political coalition. He argued that the ability to balance competing ambitions while preserving unity will be a key factor in determining the coalition’s success.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
