TRENDING: “Mass Cheers as Peter Obi Arrives Ibadan” — Fayose Accuses APC of Worsening Hunger

Isaac Fayose has reacted to a viral video showing Peter Obi in Ibadan, Oyo State, describing the public reception as spontaneous and not part of any political campaign.

In the footage circulating online, Peter Obi was seen passing through parts of Ibadan, attracting attention from residents who gathered to greet him. The former Anambra State governor remains a prominent political figure, and his appearances continue to generate strong reactions among members of the public.

Fayose, commenting on the development, insisted that the moment was not a campaign event. According to him, the crowd’s excitement reflected genuine public interest rather than organized political mobilization.

“Peter Obi entered Ibadan today. People were happy; he was just passing by, he wasn’t campaigning,” Fayose said, emphasizing that the visit should not be misinterpreted as part of early electioneering.

He went further to link the reaction to the current economic situation in the country, suggesting that widespread hardship has influenced public sentiment. “APC has used hunger to finish everyone,” Fayose added, pointing to rising cost-of-living pressures as a major factor shaping how Nigerians respond to political figures.

Nigeria has in recent times faced economic challenges, including inflation, high food prices, and concerns over household income. These issues have increasingly dominated political discourse, with opposition figures frequently referencing them in their criticism of the current administration.

Obi’s presence in Ibadan, even outside a formal campaign setting, has once again highlighted his continued influence in Nigeria’s political landscape. As a key figure ahead of the 2027 elections, his movements are closely watched, often drawing both support and commentary across social and political spaces.

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
