BREAKING: Tension as Peter Obi Ally’s Statement Sparks Reactions After Ibadan Summit
Several reactions have trailed a statement made by Oseloka Obaze, a former Secretary to the Anambra State Government and ally of former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The statement of Oseloka Obaze was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
According to Punch, prominent opposition political party leaders are currently holding a national summit at the Government House Banquet Hall, Agodi, Ibadan, Oyo State, with the aim of strengthening their position ahead of the 2027 general elections and unseating President Bola Tinubu.
In a post shared on his page, Oseloka Obaze stated that those who grabbed power should start preparing to leave, adding that an idea whose time has come cannot be postponed. He also described Ibadan as a preface of things to come.
