In a recent video on Facebook, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Elijah Ayodele, has issued fresh political predictions concerning Nigeria’s ruling party, warning of possible electoral setbacks in some states and potential internal leadership tensions ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a recent prophetic message, Ayodele said the All Progressives Congress (APC) may face significant challenges in parts of the South-East, particularly in Abia State.
“APC cannot win Abia State… tough times await some sitting governors,” he said.
The cleric suggested that while the ruling party may maintain strength in several regions, certain states could remain politically resistant, especially where opposition structures are deeply rooted.
Ayodele also pointed to possible internal complications within Nigeria’s top leadership, cautioning that relationships at the highest level of government may face strain.
“Shettima and Tinubu’s situation could become complicated… there may be betrayal,” he stated, referring to Vice President Kashim Shettima and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, political alliances within the ruling establishment must be carefully managed to avoid misunderstandings that could affect governance stability.
Ayodele further warned that some sitting governors across the country may also face difficult political conditions as election season approaches, stressing that performance and public perception will play key roles in determining outcomes.
