BREAKING: Kwara 2027: APC Youth Bloc Back Araba For Governor
A youth coalition in the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday drummed support for Engr. Femi Sanni, popularly known as ARABA ahead of Kwara 2027 governorship election.
The endorsement, delivered by the Kwara Youth for Good Governance (KYFGG) during well-attended event at the Arca Santa Event Centre, Ilorin.
The scene reflected more than routine political support — it underscored what observers describe as a widening acceptance of Sanni’s potential candidacy across key grassroots and stakeholder blocs within the APC.
Salman Idris, the convener of KYFGG said the group’s decision was due to Sanni’s track record in business, youth development, and humanitarian engagement.
The coalition highlighted Sanni’s background in enterprise and job creation as a critical advantage at a time when youth unemployment remains a pressing concern in the state.
His investments in grassroots sports development were also cited as evidence of a long-standing commitment to youth engagement and social stability.
Beyond economics and youth development, the group pointed to his humanitarian interventions across communities as indicative of a leadership style anchored in empathy and inclusiveness — qualities they argue are essential for the next phase of governance in Kwara.
Friday’s endorsement adds to a growing list of APC stakeholders and interest groups that have recently signaled support for Sanni, fueling speculation that his anticipated entry into the governorship race could significantly reshape internal party dynamics.
