BREAKING: I Ask That INEC Should Please Place My Name On Their Portal As Required By The Court Of Appeal -Bala

Factional ADC National Chairman Nafiu Bala has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to comply with a Court of Appeal order and restore his name on the commission’s portal as the recognised chairman of the party.

Speaking in a media coverage by Symfoni TV, Bala said, “I ask that INEC should please place my name on the portal, as required by the status quo ante bellum order of the Court of Appeal. This is not just a personal request. It is a plea for justice, accountability, and adherence to the rule of law. The order and stability within the ADC must rise above the irony of political monopoly and focus on what truly matters,” he said.

Bala argued that what is unfolding within the ADC is not simply an internal party dispute but a test of Nigeria’s commitment to democratic governance and the rule of law.

He warned that allowing political strongmen to exploit the party’s vulnerabilities would set a dangerous precedent. He insisted that the integrity of both the ADC and Nigeria’s broader democratic process rests on whether institutions are willing to honour court decisions and uphold the country’s constitutional framework.
