The City Boy Movement has reacted to claims alleging that Seyi Tinubu said nothing could stop his father’s two-term ambition, “not even God.”
This was contained in a report made known by THE CABLE on Monday May 11 2026.
The controversy started after a Facebook user identified as Albab Abdullahi alleged that Seyi Tinubu said nothing could stop his father from completing two terms in office, “not even God.”
In response, the Deputy Director-General of Communication and Public Affairs of the City Boy Movement, O’tega Ogra, dismissed the report as false. He stated that Seyi Tinubu never made such a comment at any time, in any place, or through any medium.
Ogra further described the allegation as misleading and dangerous, urging the public to disregard it and be cautious of the spread of misinformation.
Here’s what Ogra stated,
“For the avoidance of doubt, Barr. Seyi Tinubu did not make the statement credited to him. He has never made such a statement at any time, in any place, through any channel, or under any circumstance whatsoever.”
