BREAKING: Bayo Onanuga Reacts As Presidency Extends Implementation Of 2025 Budget From March To June 2026

Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy has taken to his official X handle to react after the presidency extended the implementation of the 2025 budget. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he also disclosed that the appropriation bill of the 2026 budget was assented by president Tinubu.

The news regarding the extension of the implementation of the 2025 budget by president Tinubu generated mixed reactions after the reports went viral across various social media platforms.

This was contained in a recent post which Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser on Information and Strategy made available to the general public on his official X handle on Friday April 17th, 2026.

The budget, which was given a deadline of March 31st, was extended to June 30th, 2026, an act which triggered massive public attention as many sought clarifications.

However, while Bayo Onanuga declined to disclose the reasons why they failed to meet the implementation deadline, he pointed out that the 2026 budget was approved by president Tinubu.
