BREAKING: Atiku Is A Serial Contestant And Loser. I Am Sure That In 2031, He Will Still Contest – Wike
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, describing him as a frequent presidential aspirant who continues to fall short at the polls and may still be in the race by 2031.
According to a Facebook post by the Ministers Special Assistant on New Media and Public Communications, Lere Olayinka, Wike made the remarks while reacting to Atiku’s recent claim that the current administration has not delivered meaningful benefits to Nigerians.
Speaking during an inspection of ongoing infrastructure projects across Abuja, the minister dismissed the criticism, arguing that the visible transformation within the Federal Capital Territory contradicts such assertions.
“Atiku is a serial failure. He is a serial contestant and loser and I am sure that in 2031, he will still contest. Nigerians would be laughing at such a person making that kind of statement that nothing positive has been done,” he said.
He maintained that residents could clearly see the pace of development, insisting that political commentary would not overshadow ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure.
Wike urged comparisons between Abuja’s current state and its condition during Atiku’s time in office, suggesting that the progress achieved so far speaks for itself.
According to him, governance must remain the priority despite political tensions, emphasizing that contractors handling major projects are focused on delivery rather than electoral disputes.
He reiterated that work would continue uninterrupted regardless of the political climate.
Providing updates on key projects, the minister disclosed that significant progress has been made on the Airport–Kuje road, with part of a bridge expected to open soon and full completion scheduled before the end of May.
He also noted that the first phase of the Kuje–Gwagwalada dual carriageway, covering about seven kilometres, is nearing completion within the same timeframe.
Wike expressed satisfaction with the quality and speed of work, adding that these projects would enhance connectivity and stimulate growth in surrounding areas.
He projected that Kuje would soon evolve into a thriving urban centre, reducing population pressure within Abuja’s city core.
He also dismissed allegations from the African Democratic Congress regarding interference in its convention plans, insisting no such action occurred and challenging the party to present proof.
The minister affirmed that most ongoing projects would be completed before January, stressing a continued commitment to infrastructure and urban development.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor.
