Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, joined family members and close associates in Morocco for the wedding ceremony of Mr. Muna Ezeibe, the son of businessman and longtime associate Chief Okey Ezeibe.
The photos from the event were shared by Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu in a recent post on his official Instagram account on Sunday, 10th May, 2026.
According to the post, Atiku attended the event to honor his friendship of more than 45 years with Chief Okey Ezeibe. The wedding united Mr. Muna Ezeibe and Cherina, the daughter of the former Prime Minister of Burkina Faso.
Atiku Abubakar, who chaired the occasion, described the gathering as a celebration of friendship, loyalty, family values, and enduring relationships that transcend borders and generations.
The ceremony attracted distinguished guests from different parts of Africa and beyond, reflecting the strong ties between the families and their longstanding relationships. Atiku Abubakar also met with some prominent african Leaders at the event in Morocco.
