Abure Speaks Out: My Tenure as National Chairman Ended June 9, 2024, Not 2025

During an interview on Arise Television, Julius Abure, factional National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), addressed questions surrounding the legitimacy and timeline of his leadership.

Abure rejected claims that his tenure extended to 2025, clarifying that it was originally set to end in June 2024. He explained that before the expiration date, the party conducted a national convention in March 2024, which produced the current leadership.

He added that the party followed due process by notifying the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the convention and submitting all required documentation afterward. According to him, there has been no official communication from INEC challenging the outcome of that convention.

According to him, “No, the tenure didn’t expire. The tenure was to expire on the 9th of June 2024, and before the expiration of tenure, on March 27, 2024, a new national convention was held where the current leadership emerged. Notices for the meetings were given to INEC. All correspondence was sent to INEC, and the convention was held, and reports of the convention were forwarded to INEC.”

Favor As Higher Power?

(The hidden truth)

Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
