BREAKING: Trump’s Iran Policy Faces Scrutiny as Negotiations Resurface
According to a Tuesday 19 of May 2026 report by The Times of Israel, the United States (US) President, Donald Trump, has sent shockwaves through European capitals when he announced Washington would withdraw from the Iran nuclear agreement brokered under former President Barack Obama.
The decision was welcomed by many in Israel, where officials had long opposed the deal, but it alarmed Washington’s European partners who viewed the agreement as an important barrier against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
The accord, formally known as the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was negotiated between Iran and six world powers: the US, Germany, France, Russia, China and Britain.
At the White House, Trump strongly defended his move, branding the agreement a “horrible one-sided deal that should never ever have been made.”
He argued that the deal gave Tehran significant economic relief while imposing only limited restrictions on its nuclear activities.
“The deal lifted crippling economic sanctions on Iran in exchange for very weak limits on the regime’s nuclear activity, and no limits at all on its other malign behavior, including its sinister activities in Syria, Yemen and other places all around the world,” he said from the White House.
Trump also criticized the agreement for excluding Iran’s missile programme from negotiations.
According to the president, the deal failed to “address the regime’s development of ballistic missiles that could deliver nuclear warheads.”
The US withdrawal triggered renewed sanctions on Iran and increased tensions across the Middle East, while European leaders struggled to preserve the agreement without Washington’s participation.
Eight years later, Trump now appears to be pursuing an arrangement with Tehran that resembles parts of the same framework he once abandoned.
This follows a large-scale bombing campaign against Iran conducted jointly by the US and Israel which intensified already high tensions in the region.
Despite military pressure and repeated warnings from Washington, a fresh agreement remains uncertain.
Iran has shown little sign of backing down in response to Trump’s repeated threats of further action if a deal is not reached.
The apparent shift in strategy has raised questions among analysts and political observers, with many noting the similarities between Trump’s current diplomatic efforts and the agreement he once described as deeply flawed.
Favor As Higher Power?
(The hidden truth)
Some positions in life cannot be held or retained for long if you are not favored. Favor is higher power. You are not the only one desiring, deserving, connected, powerful or qualified. Some positions in life, opportunities, success, achievements, triumphs, selection, approvals, power and position, elevation, patronage, etc, are mainly through favor. Favor is silent, spiritual and higher power. For spiritual guidance, other solutions, call/Whatsapp Dr J.A. Faros on 07030514063. With God, all are possible.
