Oseloka Obaze, a former Chieftain of the PDP and 2017 gubernatorial candidate in Anambra State has spoken out about sinister plots to prevent Peter Obi from contesting the presidential elections in 2027.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X account on Friday May 1st, 2026 he pointed out that the APC and certain pro-establishment agents were behind the plots.

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, it can be recalled, had faced challenges following the de-recognition of the party leadership led by Senator David Mark.

However, in a landmark judgement delivered by the supreme court on Thursday April 30th, 2026 the leadership of Senator David Mark was upheld, a judgement which was well received by the public.

According to Oseloka Obaze, the internal crisis that rocked the ADC was orchestrated by external actors, as certain political actors were bent on destroying pluralistic democracy.

However, he maintained that the fate of Nigeria was not in their hands, as affirmed by the judgement delivered by the supreme court. He equally disclosed that the people were four years wiser and more determined.
