There have been several reactions from social media users after it was announced that operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF have rescued the family members of the former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu who were kidnapped.
This announcement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of CHANNELS TV on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
This is coming after Mrs Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons known as Peter and Paul, were kidnapped in the Challenge area of Ibadan, Oyo state.
In the report that surfaced online, it was stated that the victims were rescued alive. The report further stated that during the rescue operation, two suspected kidnappers were neutralised in a gun duel with police operatives.
