BREAKING: Iran Drops Chilling Threat Saying That Their Enemies Will Be Trapped in a ‘Deadly Vortex’

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has declared that the country’s security forces maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz shipping bottleneck and they have warned that enemies would be trapped in a deadly vortex in the case of any miscalculation.

According to a report by The Times of Israel on April 12, 2026, the naval command has indicated that all traffic is under the full control of the armed forces in a Persian language post on X that was made after US President Donald Trump ordered a US naval blockade of the Strait.

The enemy will become trapped in a deadly vortex in the strait if it makes the wrong move according to the statement that was accompanied by a video showing vessels in crosshairs.

In a separate statement released by the IRGC public relations office the force naval command has insisted that contrary to the false claims of some enemy officials the Strait of Hormuz is open to the harmless passage of civilian vessels in compliance with specific relevant regulations.

The statement does not give details on the nature of these rules but it adds that any military vessels that intend to approach the Strait of Hormuz under any pretext will be considered in violation of the ceasefire and will be dealt with severely.

In a lengthy declaration on his social media platform Trump said earlier that his eventual goal was to clear the strait of mines and reopen it to all shipping but that in the meantime Iran must not be allowed to profit from its control of the waterway.

The IRGC statements emphasize their authority and readiness to respond to any threats or violations while maintaining the possibility for civilian traffic to proceed under the established rules.
