In a video shared by Advocacy For Good Governance on Saturday, July 18, 2026, Isaac Fayose, brother to former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has shared his perspectives regarding the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.

According to reports, several political leaders have scampered across various political parties in a search for a viable platform to contest the forthcoming 2027 presidential polls.

However, in the video, Isaac Fayose, brother to former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, stated that the ruling party is scared of the presidential ambition of the ex-governor, Peter Obi.

He mentioned that the presidential candidate for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, had defeated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his state during the 2023 presidential election; hence, the reason why he is afraid of the NDC aspirant.

In his words, “Peter Obi flogged him in his state that he had held hostage for twenty-six years, so if you were Tinubu, wouldn’t you be scared of a man like that?”
