When introducing Trinidadian-born musician Nicki Minaj at a White House luncheon on Monday, US President Donald Trump complimented her as “so hot”.
The remark was made at the Rose Garden luncheon, where Minaj was one of the guests.
Trump introduced the rapper and praised both her talent and her public backing, characterizing her as “respected” before adding the personal remark.
“We also have a woman who is respected and quite attractive. She is a wonderful friend of mine. “I wouldn’t say conservative; I’d say common sense,” he explained.
“She’s a fantastic person, a woman who is appreciated by everyone, and she possesses genuine talent; we have Nicki Minaj.
“She’s such a great person and respected by everybody.”
Minaj later posted images from the event to her X page, captioned: “Whoa!!!! #WhiteHouse Barbie with her all-time favorite President!!!”
In January, the rapper showcased Trump’s immigration “gold card,” a fast-track visa and residency scheme.
This came after she appeared beside the president at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, where she called herself “probably the president’s number
“I am unaffected by hatred or what others say. “It actually motivates me to support him more,” she stated at the occasion.
