Nollywood actress and media persona, Toke Makinwa, has shared her opinion on monetary disparity in relationships and marriages.
The film star mentioned she is an advocate of courting inside your monetary bracket, claiming that courting somebody above one’s monetary class, will be problematic, particularly for males.
Talking in a latest episode of the MENtality podcast hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Makinwa mentioned a whole lot of males depart their earnings brackets to chase girls above them after which later complain that girls are materialistic.
She mentioned, “I’m a giant believer of date inside your age and inside your class. That approach there is not going to be tales that contact. You’ll have lady at dwelling, a woman who will even make dinner along with her personal cash while you don’t have. But, some males will nonetheless wish to cheat on her with a girl they will’t afford.
“Heaven forbid you find yourself with a man who hasn’t blown. The day he blows that’s when you’ll know his true persona. And that scares girls. Cash doesn’t change individuals, it simply reveal who the individual is. So many males are treating girls who sacrificed every thing for them badly.”
