The first step is to extract the juice from the onion. You can use a blender, grater, or a juicer to extract the juice of the onion but before that you will have to peel a sufficient amount of onions that will be enough for your hair length/volume.
Chop the onions into pieces and put into the blender or juicer and blend until you get the right consistency that you want. If you are using a grater, cut the onion into sizable halves and grate each half using the finer side of the grater.
In both instances after grating or blending, you can extract the juice from the onion by putting it in a cheesecloth and squeezing the juice out – this ensures you will be able to extract a maximum quantity of the juice from the onion concentrate.
