Precious Godwin, a young woman from Benin City, Edo State, has shared her alleged experience of intimidation and spiritual threats after she was trafficked to Mali, claiming that a woman known as Madam Gold took parts of her body and threatened to use them for ritual purposes if she tried to escape.

Speaking on the Abdullahi Tahir Balarae Podcast on Saturday, July 11, 2026, Godwin recounted what she described as a frightening experience shortly after arriving at Madam Gold’s residence.
